After School Program
We provide service to a 5k radius from Altadore. All ages accepted.
Weekend Program
At Calgary French Day Home, we understand that you may have to work weekends and we are here for you so that you can go to work and know that your child is being cared for and that his or her French skills are kept up and that they are having a great time outdoors and indoors with all kinds of fun activities!
Our Goal:
Provide you with absolute peace of mind and keep on working and improving your child's French language skills, math skills, promote their musical and athletic talents and of course plan fun games and activities to fill up a full day!
Ages
All activities will be adapted to our ages in our groups. We are Montessorians and have extensive training on how to conduct a classroom with multiple ages and how to ensure that each child gets challenging and fulfilling activities!
Arts
Painting, drawing, collage and other time of the year-related crafts, music, singing, etc.
Sports
Parks, biking, gaga ball, basketball, hiking, swimming, skating, sledding, etc.
Academics
French reading and printing.
French language and math games such as memory and matching or hang man games.
Research work on a subject they get to chose.
Science experiments.
Other Services
Language Lessons Online and in person for all ages and all levels.
Translation Services
Translation services are available for French, Spanish, German, and Italian.
Reading Session
Coaching to learn to read in French.
1 hour sessions.
Montessori Tutoring
The Montessori method helps children to improve their math skills.
Sessions start at 30 minutes.
